| Well, after a little bit of a break, I decided to get off my butt and do a few things in game. Got a couple of staging points in the new areas and partied just a little over the weekend. The party wasn't all that great, but I now have more than enough Imperial Staging points to warp out a few time. Woohoo!! 
Also, my LS did Kirin for the first time, and won! Although I didn't kite it like you Yearg.  Dude, you're an animal!!!
Tomorrow night is an O-hat run for the mages of the LS, and I'm in line! Pointy hat 4TW.
Not much else going on. Still trying to save a little money for my Zenith Slacks. Thank God the price has dropped like it has.

| It's not that I don't like the new area. But it looks like Aht Urgan has rendered everywhere else useless.  I mean, where are all the parties in Sky? A party up there could have free reign of the whole zone. I guess it's the newness and all.
And because I don't have enough Imperial Standing points, I can't portal out to the zones that everyone likes to camp. I could run there, but truesight mobs have killed me once too often.
I don't really have time to do Besieged thanks to my HNMLS. It seems we're either in Sky farming, Sky killing Gods, Rosrum pump run, etc.
So what did I do? I logged in as my level 1 Monk, bought a stack of sneak and invis munchies and ran my little happy ass to get two of the Staging Points.
Besides that, been fishing for SU and $$$.
Oh, and a low level static to help a friend get his NIN to 37. I'm playing as my DRG (tons of fun!). At 37 I think he's switching to SMN and I might just keep going with DRG. A once a week static will give me my DD fix. I'd love to see myself in that AF! 
So Yearg, it will be quite a while till I'm as leet as you! Not exactly burning up the XP to 75! Dynamis is helping with that too.

| Connection problems have kept us down for WAY too long. Still not totally without problems, but at least we can sign on.
Yearg, if you see this, I have a question. I have two songs left to buy. The Herc. Etude song I can understand. But what about the Maiden's Virelai?! WTF? Can you give me any usefull situation where you've actually used it? I'd like to think that Square has a specific use for this song, but I'm left scratching my head.
Not much else to note. My LS is now doing Dynamis with another. There's only one other Bard. And guess what drops on my first Dynamis Sandy? You guessed it. He lotted higher, which I don't really mind. Evidently he'd been doing Dynamis for a long time with nothing to show. I'll get mine in time.

| This goes out to Yearg. I'm about to hit 73 and LS members want to party this weekend, so no doubt I'll get it and then some.
I see some new gear coming up and I'd like to tailor a set for Sky farming and God fights. You know of a few things I have... the crown, Zenth slacks in the wings (not enough $$$ for the cursed item yet, but will soon). Aside from that, is anything worth looking at? Sadly no Relic, but we are talking about joining forces with another God pearl to maybe do Dynamis. I'm pretty jazzed about that.
So, anything I can't live without?

| OK, so the LS leader and myself work together and because the Byakko fight can really use Bards there, he convinced me to roll with him. But isn't two really overkill? His idea of one of the parties in the main alliance will have:
NIN/WAR
NIN/WAR
NIN/WAR
BRD/WHM
BRD/WHM
WHM/SMN
The idea being for the NINs to bounce it back and forth. I guess the other two parties are left to do as much damage as possible. Screenshots to follow.
And speaking of screenshots (a blog could get boring without them) here's a cool shot as we helped a buddy of mine get his WAR testimony in Davoi. Sadly, a macro didn't fire properly and he'll need another soon. Don't worry Voe, third times a charm!
